I have been painting and drawing since my school years. I began with pencils, then explored watercolors and oils as I sought to bring color into my work. My artistic development took a significant step forward when Rosie McNees, an artist from Eaton, Ohio, introduced me to soft pastels and became my mentor.

Pastels remain my favorite medium, and much of my work focuses on landscapes. As my skills have grown, I have embraced greater detail and larger formats. I also continue to work in watercolor and oils and especially enjoy creating large abstract pieces. My training has come primarily through a variety of workshops and extensive study from my collection of art books.
