Whicker, Brenda

Brenda Whicker is a life-long resident of Indiana and currently lives with her husband on a farm in Hendricks County. A mix of animals and farm fields gives Brenda plenty of inspiration for her paintings.

Her artistic training began in high school with a major in art. Although she pursued a career as a pharmacist, she never lost interest in art and continued involvement with art-related projects. Over the past few years Brenda has actively pursued advanced art-related training with several nationally well-known artists.

Brenda’s strives to capture the effect of light in both still life and landscape paintings. She hopes that her paintings fully express the beautiful effect of light in our environment.
