Jacqueline Phillips is a native of Michigan. Upon retirement as an Executive Secretary with Michigan's major utility company, she and her husband moved to Nashville, Indiana to pursue her love of art and build "a cabin in the woods." They lived there 24 years before moving to Bloomington, Indiana.
She is now an Emeritus member of the Brown County Art Gallery and has exhibited there since 1999. As a watercolorist, her interest lies in painting landscapes and florals. She especially enjoys painting winter scenes, perhaps because of the fond memories she has of her growing up years in Northern Michigan and two years spent in Alaska.
