Indiana native Leanne Marchand has created art sporadically throughout her lifetime, only engaging in it fully after retiring from her 30-year career with the U.S. Postal Service and earning an Associate of Fine Arts degree from Ivy Tech, Bloomington. Leanne’s style is representational, observational, and can range from realistic to impressionistic. She works in a variety of mediums including oil, acrylic, ink, watercolor, and pastel. Landscapes, still lifes, portraiture, and figuratives comprise her diverse subject matter. Her studio is located just outside of Nashville at The Art Farm, and she is a member of the Indiana Artists Club. Leanne draws inspiration from the people and scenery of Brown County, Indiana, where she lives in a cabin in the woods with her husband and their dog.
