Haflich, Lesley

Lesley and her husband, Byron, recently became part time residents of the area just north of Story, Indiana. Inspired by the colorful scenery, she has been creating inviting oil paintings of the “Three B’s”… Birds, Barns and Brown County for the community and visitors to enjoy.

“One can truly appreciate nature, history and down-to-earth values in these beautiful hills, and I am trying to convey that.”

After receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Purdue, Lesley worked for several years in Indianapolis advertising and sign/display businesses. She was a long time member of CCA co-op gallery, has had booths in many fairs, including Pernod, and spent the last eight years painting in her studio at Nickel Plate Arts in Noblesville, Indiana.
