Bardes, Pat

Pat Bardes is a long time impressionistic plein air painter from Nashville, Indiana who specializes in presenting the color and light of her subject matter. She works primarily in soft pastels and oil; often painting landscapes, seascapes and cityscapes.

Plein air painting is her favorite way to paint... she finds that the challenges of painting outdoors are many, but the rewards and constant learning opportunities are well worth the effort. She is a member of Indiana Heritage Arts, the Hoosier Salon, the Indiana Plein Air Painters Association and an artist member of the Brown County Art Gallery
