Sandi knew that she wanted to be an artist after successfully drawing an oversized Charles Shultz Snoopy character for the bulletin board of her sixth grade class. She’s been creating art ever since.

Degreed in Advertising Design, Sandi began her career as a Graphic Designer and Art Director. During this time, an art director credit on a feature film intrigued her and prompted her to pursue, and accomplish, the goal of art directing motion pictures.

While working for many years in all areas of film production art departments, Sandi accrued a variety of skills that attracted several clients outside of the film industry. As a result, she moved home to Indianapolis and started a small business designing sets for corporate events and local production.
She painted and distressed finishes of cabinetry, furniture, and musical instruments. She was also commissioned to paint murals.

This introduced Sandi to employers in the music industry for whom she was a production and wardrobe coordinator with touring bands. The sporadic schedules of these bands provided her the occasional downtime to pursue her passion of oil painting. Sandi transitioned into painting full time in March of 2020.

I am happy to make prints of my paintings..
